Edit: Thank you for not only adding keyboard support but allowing the screen to change from vertical to horizontal! It's a great app and, while I agree the web & desktop versions are better, this is great to use while out and about. How many times have you had an idea that you wanted to write down? This makes it easy and your quick ideas are stored with the rest of your work.

I'm really impressed with Campfire Write, I'm working on a fictional space adventure book. I'm about a third of the way through and find it's difficult to keep track of all the characters. The team who is reviewing my work recommended Campfire. I am really impressed w/ the fee structure. It has affordable monthly fees & lifetime fees. Of course, I'm not going to write the book on my phone but the app is amazing to help reference characters, or when an idea sparks in the shower or on the toilet :)

Incredibly glitchy interface. When you scroll, the page often jumps back to the top. When trying to edit text, the text cursor randomly jumps around, so you end up typing or deleting words from a different line (and there is no undo button!). Overall, it's fine for casual browsing but can't be used for any heavy-duty writing, editing, or working in general.

At the very beginning of me using this, Campfire was great for organizing my thoughts and my plot. I decided to go ahead and transfer to my laptop, and discovered the hard way that the desktop version was way different from the phone version, to the point it deleted some of my work because of a new update. I was devastated because I lost most of my plot notes, and I now have to restart.

I thought this app would be a good way for me to work on my manuscript while out and away from my computer. I thought the team at Campfire had ACTUALLY addressed the issues which others had mentioned with it in years past. I was wrong. This app is entirely unusable. The autosave/sync feature interrupts every time I attempt to type anything without allowing me to even complete a word before re-syncing and reloading the manuscript. Forcing me to find where I was working again and try to restart.
