Comments on Canada COVID-19 for Android

★★★★★ Not sure why the app asks about symptoms every day, but it's good for getting the up-to-date information released by Health Canada

★★★★★ I think the app is very important and I use it daily to check in. However 14 day isolation for a headache?

★★★★★ I have had no technical issues whatsoever. The daily notification is a useful reminder. However, it would be more user friendly if, when I click the reminder, it immediately brought me to the daily check-in screen rather than to the self-assessment page.

★★☆☆☆ [Original Rel review] Unreliable notifications. No app exit stratagy, that's very poor design. Otherwise fine app but becoming very slow to load or change tabs. [2020-10-21 Rel] Still no proper way to exit app. Extremely slow response throughout, even on fiber internet. [2020-10-27 Rel] Workflow error. After submitting daily check-in returning to home tab app thinks daily check-in not done. Exit and reload app check-in noted correctly. Other faults remain.

★★☆☆☆ I'm trying to help with your data...I'm at 259 daily entries (including temp readings). But the app is getting so so so slow... And more recently the app is starting to crash after I hit submit. Many times it's lost my entry entirely. I update the app regularly. I have a 12mb super phone.

★★☆☆☆ Update to previous post: I uninstalled after clearing data, rebooted phone and reinstalled. As soon as I selected my province I got the "app encountered a error" again. So I got rid of it.
