I have been using this app (pro version) for 2 seasons of backcountry canoeing. It has been reliable and easy to use with a variety of devices. Offline maps work well. Sharing waypoints and routes between devices is available, though it requires exporting data from one device and importing to the other. One criticism would be that it doesn't let you start navigating a route mid-route, instead providing heading and distance to the route start point. Otherwise, it has been excellent.

I was looking for something to measure point to point distance since Google Maps doesn't, and I can't get Foreflight on an Android device. Got exactly what I needed within 30 seconds of opening it. The 1:50000 scale is the same that I use for air SAR as well, so it should be very useful. I will definitely consider buying pro if I start using it more. ... After using this a little longer, it would be useful to be able to create a "go to" route by entering a bearing and distance.

Bought the Pro version only for them to release a new version where you have to pay yearly for the same thing. Now the old version no longer works.

The killer is this app is dangerous if you depend on it. Went out bushwhacking to create a new trail through dense brush. The app worked fine on the way in tracking the trail nicely. On the way out I got stuck in a spot where the brush was extra dense. Looked at the app for help and found a full page Temu add for skimpy clothes. The Temu add crashed app, all trail data was lost, and it took me some time to find my way out with no help from this app. I know everyone buys on temu while bushwhacking.

More than once have I made sure my location was on, centered the map, then hit record only to find that no track was ever recorded. Now I'm regretting having bought the 'pro' version. While it has good maps, it's just not worth the aggravation of not recording my tracks. Don't waste your money on this - it's just not worth it!.
