I used to use it many years ago and have recently came back to the subscription model. There seems to be a never ending database of foods listed. Most I won't be eating but are handy when a substitution is needed. I especially like the new scanner screen. It wouldn't save for me at first but seems to have corrected itself. I did reach out to the team, and they requested many screenshots, so maybe my problem has been sorted. In future editions a fully a.i. food scanner.

Phenomenal app, I use it every day. Type 1 diabetic and had the book back when strip tops could be collected to get freebies. Now I'm trying to lose weight and found myself checking My Fitness Pal and Turtle against this to get the correct carbs and cals and suddenly realized that's insane. Now I use it for carb counting and weight loss tracking, and it's fabulous for both. Developers are communicative and helpful if there's an issue. Even the free version is wonderful.

This app is extremely restricted unless you pay an expensive subscription. The developers can sit on your restricted app im going for some other app which is not extremely restricted and don't have to pay an expensive subscription. Bye.

Very disappointed that an app advertised for diabetics, does not allow you to track your blood sugar levels.

App used to be great this app used to be amazing when it was a one-off payment or even free this app has massively gone down hill since it became a subscription product

Only works with branded food. Seems to be pushing us to use "restaurants" i.e. chains. I make my own meals as much as I can, but there are no generic ingredients for muesli or actual meals. It lists flour and sugar but not whole grains. So it's basically encouraging poor eating. Aims at calorie counting, but this is only a part of the story. Tuna contains calories. So does white sugar. All food contains calories. Swap tuna for sugar? I don't think that would be healthy.
