Use this to help check food when shopping as have diabetes. Can log meals, water, .exercise and glucose in one place

★★★★★ Sarah · May 7, 2026

Phenomenal app, I use it every day. Type 1 diabetic and had the book back when strip tops could be collected to get freebies. Now I'm trying to lose weight and found myself checking My Fitness Pal and Turtle against this to get the correct carbs and cals and suddenly realized that's insane. Now I use it for carb counting and weight loss tracking, and it's fabulous for both. Developers are communicative and helpful if there's an issue. Even the free version is wonderful.

★★★★★ Nicola Dewar · Aug 20, 2025

I absolutely love this app as a type 1 diabetic it helps me to keep track of my carbs and how different foods affect my glucose levels. I am trying to lose a bit of weight, so it even figures out what your calories should be.

★★☆☆☆ Philip Foobar (Tofu muncher) · Aug 9, 2026

Only works with branded food. Seems to be pushing us to use "restaurants" i.e. chains. I make my own meals as much as I can, but there are no generic ingredients for muesli or actual meals. It lists flour and sugar but not whole grains. So it's basically encouraging poor eating. Aims at calorie counting, but this is only a part of the story. Tuna contains calories. So does white sugar. All food contains calories. Swap tuna for sugar? I don't think that would be healthy.

Is this the world we live in, we need a subscription for something to help diabetics?

★☆☆☆☆ D Cosh · Aug 27, 2025

Cost is not worth it used to use it all the time, but it's just too expensive now.

★★☆☆☆ Logan Bottomley · May 12, 2025

App used to be great this app used to be amazing when it was a one-off payment or even free this app has massively gone down hill since it became a subscription product
