Solid game but I enjoy play card thief (made by the same dev who made this game) I feel like this is easy and card thief is more challenging
★★★★☆Justin Jakimiak· Feb 6, 2023
This game is hard as hell. Usually I'm getting pwned by the second round on every tavern. I feel like the difficulty curve is extremely steep. It's really good fun though, if a bit frustrating. But that's kinda how the dev rolls... card games with souls-like difficulty

My feedback would be - persist. It's difficult, and you may want to give up because it's very hard to grasp. But once you do, it's well worth it. First-rate mechanics. I'd say get the other card crawl game first, and it is a touch easier if you are used to the developers other games. Congratulations!

I love love love Card Thief, and I really want to like this game, but it's much more complicated and even with the tutorial, it's confusing.
★★☆☆☆Rebekah Dawson· Aug 26, 2023
Eh. It's alright. Nice art style but tutorial froze, and I had to work it all out on my own. Had a few fun games, but it came clear that there are many levels you just can't complete simply because the game hasn't given you the cards or stats to beat it. And once you're in a game if you surrender you have to restart the adventure all over, and you can't even go back to taverns you've completed to get all the achievements. Has potential but needs work.

I can't even open the options' menu to turn off the sound. The only place I see the icon is on the Start screen, but tapping on it just takes you into the tavern. Double tapping tries to open the menu, but it's already started to take you into the tavern, so the menu closes before it's fully opened.

Well aside from many rating being OBVIOUS bots. It is a glorified demo, some cards deal more damage than they state they do, leading you to lose when you shouldn't have, and the chest you gain from connecting map fragments simply never appears. Heck, an entire game mode is gated behind money. Don't bother with this game, find something more worth your time
