Cardmon: TCG Card Scanner

Hold a card up to the camera and Cardmon tells you what it is and roughly what it's worth. No shutter to press, no language to pick.

Cardmon is an unofficial Pokémon card scanner and collection tracker.

■ Auto scan, no shutter
Turn on auto scan and cards are added as you hold them up — flip through a freshly opened pack like a stack. Before anything is saved you can review what you scanned, split by set, and fix quantities and condition. Manual, one-card-at-a-time scanning is still there.

■ English, Japanese and Korean cards
Most TCG card scanners stop at English releases. Cardmon covers English, Japanese and Korean sets and searches all three at once, so you can flip through a mixed pile without changing a setting. A Japanese holo or a Korean promo is priced as the card it actually is.

■ Identified in seconds
Point your camera at a card, or pick a photo you already have. Cardmon reads the set, card number, rarity and language. Recognition runs on your phone, so it works at a card shop, at a show, or while you sort your binder at home.

■ Right down to the variant
Normal, holo, reverse holo. Cardmon tells them apart, because the version you own is the one that sets the value. Rare, vintage and graded cards each keep their own.

■ Card values from market data, updated daily
Every card shows an estimated market value built from observed market activity. Open a card to see how it moved over the last week, month or three months, so you can tell whether it is rising or cooling before you buy, sell or trade. View every figure in your own currency — KRW, USD, JPY, EUR, GBP, AUD or CAD.

■ Your binder, adding up
Save cards to your collection and see whth, with a chart of how it got there.Sort by recent, name or value, and spot your biggest movers at a glance.

■ Browse every set
Explore hundreds of Pokémon TCG sets acrKorean releases. Filter by language,track set completion, and check what each set is worth.
