Car gills cancelled my online grocery order placed on the 28th November 2025. But so far In spite of several phone calls to the so called ‘Customer Service Department’ they have yet to refund me a sum of Rs.12440 to my credit card. Customer service department is absolutely useless and most unhelpful. Only thing they are good at is being economical with the truth and keep customers hanging on the line without dealing with the query.

There are two Car gills Food City branches in Polonnaruwa within just 5 km of each other, and they still don’t provide delivery services whatsoever.

I want to give a 1-star rating for Car gills Online because they clearly state on their website and mobile app that they will refund money within 3 days if a customer wishes to return a product and reports the issue to Car gills Online customer care within 2 hours. I followed all their terms, reported the issue within the required time frame, and returned the product 2 days after reporting. However, it has been 20 days, and they still haven't refunded my money. I am very disappointed.
