CARGURU - Car sharing is a car sharing service. The price for use includes absolutely all costs, including fuel, parking charge and insurance. All operations, including registration, opening and closing of the car are made via our mobile application.
What makes CARGURU - Car sharing different from a usual car rental?
Firs of all, absolutely all costs associated with the use of the car are already included in the tariff. The customer pays only for the time when he used the car. There are no hidden costs, deposits and over-payments!
Secondly, all operations, including registration, opening and closing of the car are made via our mobile application. The user does not have to go to the company’s office to sign a contract, take the car keys and return them later at an agreed place. Our clients can take the vehicle exactly in the time when they actually need to and use it as long as they want to, and leave it wherever it is convenient for them.
And finally, our clients can rent a car for a short period of time — even for 5 minutes! After all, if a client needs a car only for a short period, then why would he overpay for the time when he is not using it?
Eventually, CARGURU - Car sharing is something more than just car rental. This is a fundamentally new perspective on mobility and an alternative to private transport.

Excellent app, but could have more cars! There are many times that we need a car and there's nothing near. Mainly after the cancelation of Yandex Táxi... we have less options of transportation in Riga, so Car guru couldn't provide more cars

Last 3 times I've tried to use the app, the app, along with the website were not working, the site giving a 404 error. Edit: feeling bad I have updated the rating with a few stars, went to try to use the app and get a car again andit is not working again.

Can't register: the app crops my driver's license. When I take a picture, very carefully positioning my license inside the app-provided borders, it comes out 3/4 cropped, very much out of frame, and there is a lot of guesswork to position the license so that it comes out cropped just right. Update: now the app will not even open because of the "user not found" error. The error, mind you, is caused by the fact that it is impossible to take a picture of my license.

Tried to register went through all the steps and awaited entire day for profile review just to end up calling customer support next day and got informed that for unknown reasons my profile is declined by there agency (I have +4 years of driving experience and 0 violation points and use other rent car apps in rig alike bolt drive) couldn't get explanation why simply makes no sense and waste my time. Uninstall and move on

Requires 2 year driving experience. I have no choice but to use competitor city bee at this point which doesn't have such discrimination. And besides car guru 'experienced' drivers get into accidents as well as we've already seen on the local news.
