CartNap - Stop Impulse Buying

Ever added something to your cart and regretted it the next day? You're not alone. Shopping apps are designed to make us buy on impulse, skipping the rational part of our brain.
CartNap helps you break the cycle. When you spot something you want to buy, share the link to CartNap instead of checking out. The app "puts it to sleep" for a cooling-off period, giving your brain time to shift from impulse to intention.
🛒 HOW IT WORKS

Find a product you want on any shopping app or website
Tap Share and choose CartNap
The product goes to sleep — a countdown begins
When it wakes up, you decide: buy it or save the money

That's it. No complicated setup. No financial jargon. Just a simple pause between "I want it" and "I bought it."
💤 KEY FEATURES
• Smart link detection — Share a link from Amazon, eBay, Zalando, Vinted, AliExpress, ASOS, Shein and many more. CartNap automatically extracts the product name, price, and image.
• Nap timer — Every product sleeps for a cooling-off period (default 48 hours). You can customize the duration to fit your habits.
• Deep Sleep Mode — For serious impulse buyers. Hides the buy button entirely until the timer expires. No shortcuts, no cheating.
• Savings tracker — Every time you decide not to buy, CartNap tracks how much you saved. Watch your savings grow over time.
• Weekly reports — Get a summary of your spending decisions every Monday. See how many impulse purchases you avoided and how much money you kept.
• Statistics and insights — Visualize your rethinking rate, top stores, total savings, and personal progress over time.
• Manual entry — Want to add a product from a physical store or a link that didn't scrape? Add it manually with a title and price.
• Works offline — All your data is stored locally on your device. No account required to get started.
🧠 THE SCIENCE BEHIND IT
Impulse buying triggers the same dopamine rush as other compulsive behaviors. By introducing a waiting period, CartNap interrupts the reward loop and helps your rational brain catch up. It's not about never buying — it's about buying with intention.
