Cascava

Cascava is an offline 📴 stencil workshop for anyone who cuts, paints, or plots real stencils. Stamp shapes and lettering onto a working grid and a live connectivity solver instantly ⚡ checks whether your design can actually be cut in one piece — then fixes it for you.

When you cut a stencil, any shape fully enclosed by a hole — the centre of an O, the counter of an A, the middle of a ring — falls out and is lost. These "islands" are the classic stencil problem. Cascava finds every island automatically using connected-component analysis, then generates the minimal bridges (small tabs of material) that tie each island back to the frame with a shortest-gap search 🔍, so you keep as much detail as possible. Edit anything and it re-solves live.

Everything runs entirely on your device 📱. There are no accounts, no sign-in, and no internet connection required to design, solve, or save 💾 your work.

Features:
• Grid canvas editor — drag ✋ to place shapes and glyphs, move, and erase, with live cut/keep preview
• Automatic island detection and minimal bridge generation, recomputed on every edit
• Adjustable bridge width and minimum gap, so you control how much material holds each island
• Multi-layer stencils for multi-colour or multi-pass cut files, with reorder, visibility, and rename
• Analysis view — a node-link map 🗺️ of islands and bridges plus a per-layer integrity and bridge-length breakdown 🧾
• Live readouts: island count, total 💯 bridge length in millimetres, and an overall integrity gauge
• Trace from a photo 📸 — import 📥 a picture from your camera 📷 or gallery 🖼️ and turn it into a cut/keep starting point
• A local library 📚 of saved stencils with thumbnails, and an interactive guide that teaches how bridges work

Whether you are making vinyl, painting signage, laser-cutting, or plotting, Cascava turns a drawing into a physically cuttable stencil in seconds — no guesswork and no lost pieces. Design offline 📴, save 💾 locally, and cut with confidence.
