π΅ CashBook Counter adds up the money in your drawer. Enter how many 500s you have, how many 200s, how many coins, and the grand total is ready before you finish typing — in your own currency, fully offline.
It is made for the people who actually handle cash and need simple cash management: small business and kirana owners, cashiers, petrol pump staff, bank and co-operative clerks, medical stores, canteens, hotels, temple and donation collectors, event organisers, and anyone who tallies a cash box at the end of the day.
π YOUR OWN MONEY, NOT SOMEBODY ELSE'S
β 53 currencies, each with its own real notes and coins — Indian rupee, taka, Pakistani and Nepali rupee, dirham, riyal, dinar, dollar, euro, pound, naira, shilling, rupiah, peso, ringgit, baht, dong, yen, rand, lira and more.
β The right rows for your drawer. Pick your currency once and the counter shows the notes and coins that country actually uses — not a rupee list with a different symbol on it.
β Grouping and decimals done properly: 1,24,730 for India, 124,730 elsewhere, and no false paise on currencies that have none.
β Saved counts keep the currency they were counted in, so switching never rewrites yesterday's takings.
π’ COUNTING
β Total as you type. Every denomination has its own row, and the grand total and piece count update instantly.
β Amount in words — lakh and crore where that is how people count, thousand and million where it is not. Ready to copy onto a deposit slip.
β Notes and coins are never mixed up. Where a value exists as both, each gets its own row, so your figure matches the drawer.
β Save a count under a name, share it as text in one tap, or export a PDF for your records, audit or bank.
β Withdrawn and uncommon notes stay hidden until you switch them on.
π CLOSING THE DAY
Counting tells you what is there. Closing tells you whether it is what should be there.
β Over or short, in one line. Enter what the cash register says should be in the drawer, count the cash, and see it plainly: balanced, over by so much, or short by so much.
β A daily cash book. Money in and money out with a note on each entry, and every day shows its total in, total out and closing balance.
β More than one drawer. Two counters, a petty cash box and a main till — each till keeps its own counts and its own cash book.
π§° TOOLS FOR THE COUNTER
β Split an amount. Enter a figure and get the denomination breakdown to hand over, using only the denominations you keep. If it cannot be made exactly, the app says so instead of quietly rounding.
β GST both ways, for India. Add it to a cost price or work it back out of an MRP, with the CGST and SGST halves for your invoice — exact to the paisa, never rounded to whole rupees.
β Backup and restore. Save counts, cash book and tills to a file you choose and bring them back on a new phone. Nothing is uploaded.
π¨ MADE TO LOOK AT ALL DAY
β Light, dark, or whatever the phone is set to.
β Six colour themes. Pick one in Settings and the whole app follows it.
β Eight languages: English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali.
π OFFLINE, AND PRIVATE
No sign-up, no account. Your counts stay on your phone and are never uploaded, and the app asks for no access to contacts, messages, photos or location. A basement godown, a village shop, a moving cash van: it works the same everywhere, because it never needs a network.
β PREMIUM: PAY ONCE
The counter, every currency, the over/short check, the cash book and splitting an amount are all free, with no limit. Premium is a single purchase: no ads, unlimited saved counts instead of the last 10, PDF export, and backup to a file. Nothing renews.
β οΈ ONE HONEST NOTE
CashBook Counter does the arithmetic; you do the counting. Re-check the physical bundles before you sign a deposit slip — this is a calculator, not a currency verification machine.
