CastBack Plus (Podcast Player)

★★★★★ Best app of 2018! I love podcasts so much but I haven't been able to enjoy my very long list of podcasts because every podcast app that I download from the play store (over 45) left me disappointed one way or another. They were all too cluttered and ugly or just not very smooth. But then I found this app and tried the free version-everything changed. later I upgraded to pro to thank the creator(s) for such an amazing app. Thank you so much for this app! What I like: -clean and beautiful UI(you will not find such a simple and beautiful design of a podcast player. Not even Pocket Casts is as good as this app(I've downloaded Pocket Casts so trust me on this) and Pocket Casts is 2x the price. -love the layout of the home screen, subscription list and the downloads section. Just simple and beautiful. -love how there are only 3 sections(Home, subscription, downloads) instead of it being cluttered with so many sections. -I like how I can customize the look of the podcast easily - Now playing screen is the best! Super clutter free and just looks beautiful thanks to it's simple design. These are just SOME of MY personal favorites that I enjoy and what I think the average podcast lover would be happy to see on a podcast app. I just didn't have time to list ALL the great things about this app. Now I want to talk about things that could make this app even more amazing and better to use for everyone. If these things change, I believe this app could be even more attractive to more people. Most of this has to do with just little tweaks to features that are already there, not adding brand new features Wich could definitely clutter the app and that will not make me or anybody happy. - The biggest thing is that the comment feature is not very useful so it just sits there. I haven't been able to successfully comment on a podcast when I tried and I don't really care to so if this feature was removed, me and most people wouldn't care. - sometimes I want to start a podcast series fro episode 1. As it is now, I would have to got to my podcast and scroll all the way down to find the first episode Wich is a pain. One simple fix for this problem is an option to sort episode list from new to old or old to new for all podcasts. -when im listening to a downloaded podcast episode offline, the art work doesn't really load Wich is kind of a bummer because the beautifully displayed artwork makes the now playing screen a pleasure to look out. - Show notes are not very neat especially when I'm listening to a music podcast. Track lists on the show notes section are just one big clutter of words. What would be nice is if tracklists were organized like how they are on Apple podcasts in neat order. - The last thing I want to mention is a way for people to tell exactly Wich episodes are played and which ones are new. An easy way to show played episodes is grey out the played episodes a little and make new episodes look normal. I know there is a way to tell which episodes are played but if we can see it like the way I described, it would be nicer. This is all for now but I will definitely be in touch with the creator(s) when something comes up because I believe they will listen to their users and make the users happy.

★★☆☆☆ Cannot easily add podcast subscriptions because listing disappears before chance to click 'subscribe' -- then screen blanks. Tedious. No reply when developer got notified of this bug. Otherwise clean interface is good but this fault is ridiculous.

★★☆☆☆ I like the look and was hopeful, but all of the functions I’m looking for don’t work. Can’t download to SD card (permission granted) Can’t stream any episodes (repeated failure) Can’t adjust playback speed (enabled in settings) Really wanted to like it but for what I’m looking for, it barely works.

★★☆☆☆ Bugs: Downloading doesn't work properly in feed. I download some episode, instead of that app downloads podcasts above or below it. So i always have to open the episode and then download it. real weird sisters podcast - i downloaded some episodes (6-8) and the have different names, but are actually same ones. 😐 had to delete everything and listen to them one by one. this podcast also give download error most of the time, but works fine in other apps.
