Cat Tailer was designed specifically with cats in mind therefore it:
-is fully waterproof (Yes, dunk it in the water bowl!!!)
-is very simple to use with your smart phone or tablet
-tells you when your cat comes into range or goes out of range
-has a long range of up to 328 feet (100 meters)
-is small and light enough for a kitten to wear
-has an easy to replace battery that lasts for 6 months (180 days)
-uses simple and safe Bluetooth technology to tell you how far away your cat is

Cat Tailer is not GPS. It uses Bluetooth Low Energy technology with a long 328 foot range (100 meters) to assist you in finding your pet within your yard or neighborhood.

Cat Tailer is a simple device you attach to your cat's collar and use the companion smartphone application to find your cat when needed.

It works well. Sometimes the distance can be wildly inaccurate if there's something between the tailer and your phone (such as a wall), but it certainly helps to locate my cat nonetheless.

Does not work how I expected it I expected it to be able to track a little outside my yard and I do not live in a big yard at all, so I don't even put it on there because I'm scared if I do then she'll lose it, or it won't work

Must be in direct line of sight for device to function. Highly inaccurate if any material is in between you and the tracker. My device constantly reads much larger distances than reality.

Product decent, App not so much. The app was working fine for the first couple days. Now it's so glitchy. My cat is right next to me and the app says he is out of range. I'm constantly getting notifications saying he's in and out of range, and he is currently in my home... it worries me that it will not work properly when I truly need to go searching for him.
