The Android version has most of the functionality of the Windows version. And is much more convenient to use with the amp. But on Android even uninstall fails to remove unwanted saved preset files. Further Android file managers fail to find these preset files. Whereas on Windows the file manager can find the saved preset files. And then remove them. Also, the Windows version of Catalyst Edit, unlike the Android version, can rename the preset files.

Beautiful and calm and very, very intuitive user interface in its design and functionality. Absolutely 100% plug & play in the truest sense of the word. Just connect the amplifier with the USB cable to a computer that runs the Catalyst editing software. Plug in your guitar and away you go!! A great product from Line6 for the aspiring guitarist, the intermediate or advanced guitarist... Everybody gets some out of the Catalyst amplifier. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Does everything you need it to do EXCEPT accessing hum, bias, and sag. A bit bummed out over that. And it doesn't have the updated catalyst access to any effect in slot 2. Freezes, then crashes the amp.

Worked just fine until the new line of Catalyst, but it's broken for the gen 1 Catalyst now. Can't select effects without it cutting sound entirely or selecting the wrong effect. Nearly useless app now.

It needs an update to fix bugs, effects whatever I set either delay or reverb on amp controls, in edit on android it's not possible to change from reverb to pitch or anything else but the reverb it's set on amp physically, there are virtually zero instructions, do I start the amp with the android device already plugged in or not, does the android edit supersede any amp controls or is that just eq and amp models in the preamp. Bloody frustrating. The whole point of having it handy= nil poi

Kind of a damaged android app, you can't remove presets that have been saved to the phone without clearing the apps' storage/cache? Lame, brutal, etc...
