How about this: Just get all the rules explained to with this app! Gather your friends, unpack the game, and start playing without anyone reading the rules.
Note: This app is not a game. It is an assistant for the well-known board game products from the CATAN world. Do you have Ubongo, Tumult Royale, Imhotep, the nominee for “Spiel des Jahres” or the “Kennerspiel des Jahres” EXIT? You want to learn how to play it but don’t have the time or desire to deal with reading through all the instructions?
Well, how about simply having all the rules explained to you via narrated animations? Learn how to set up the game and get started without reading the rules booklet. Learn other KOSMOS games without reading the manuals.
Note: This app offers additional features for the well-known games from KOSMOS.The app is usually not compatible with Chromebooks.

Only covers base game. Needed help having played several base game versions and was looking to add expansions to my gameplay. Guess I'll just be reading the manual.

2 attempts in a row, wasting time downloading the game content... Only to have no icon pop up for tutorial or anything else. Not going to waste a third attempt, I'd rather read the instruction book included with the game itself.

This does not teach you how to play any other version of catan except the base game. Just read the book or look up YouTube tutorials for anything outside the base game.
