Catchtype: Korean & English

Catchtype is a keyboard for typing Korean and English without pressing the language key.

It decides word by word whether you meant Korean or English and fixes it as you type: Korean typed on English keys (dkssudgktpdy → 안녕하세요), English words with Korean particles (AIfh → AI로), and English typed in Korean (ㅗ디ㅣㅐ → hello). When it becomes sure, it also fixes the words before.

HOW TO USE
1. Open the Catchtype app and turn on Catchtype from "Open keyboard settings". On Samsung Galaxy it is in Settings > General management > Keyboard list and default.
2. Choose Catchtype from "Choose keyboard".
3. Just type in any text field. Type dkssud in the app's box; if it becomes 안녕, you are ready.

WHAT IT DOES
• One layout: each key shows its Dubeolsik jamo and its English letter, with the current language shown large.
• Splits words that switch language inside them (AI로, API를, React에서).
• Leaves text alone when unsure. It is built to avoid changing what should stay as typed.
• Press the 가/A key right after a change to restore what you typed. After a space, press it twice quickly.
• Works with Bluetooth and book cover keyboards too.
• Password fields are never changed.
• Turn off automatic switching in Settings to use it as a plain Dubeolsik keyboard.
• TalkBack reads each key, and you can type with it.

NOT YET
Word suggestions, autocorrect, an emoji keyboard and voice input are not there yet.

PRIVACY
• Every decision is made on your phone.
• Catchtype has no internet permission, so what you type cannot leave your phone. It collects no data.
• When you turn on a keyboard, Android warns that it "may be able to collect all the text you type". Every keyboard shows this; Catchtype does not send what you type, and on your phone it keeps only the words you undid ("Learned Words") and the words you add ("Always Convert").

Recent changes:
• Tap space twice quickly for a period and a space (ok. ). Turn it off in Settings
• What you just copied shows in the middle of the suggestion bar. One tap pastes it
• Undo the same word three times and it stays as typed from then on. See or remove these in Learned Words
• Add words you always want switched to the other language in Learned Words
• Hide the small second letter on keys in Settings
