I've had the machine and app for an around 5 months, and it's a great machine and the app is good. But the app is missing certain things like, why have a cat list with the cats photos if it can't tell me which cat has used the toilet. In the dairy it just shows a blank cats head.

I love the Cat Genie app! It's always nice to know what's going on with my Cat Genie self-cleaning litter box. It helps me keep an eye on how many times my cat uses the litter box, how many cleaning cycles that are left and if there is a problem.

To everyone encountering the loading issue, try leaving the app open for a few minutes. That worked for me after I contacted support to report the issue, and they suggested that. Apparently they've been having server issues that delay the app opening and that spinner is the app loading indicator, not just the activity summary. Not a great loading implementation if you ask me (data loading should never make a UI unresponsive), but whatever, I bought it for the litter box, not the app UX.

I've had a cat genie for 11 or 12 years now, and most of the time- I love my cat genie. Sometime during 2021 I got a second machine, and was excited because this was the new model, which upgraded features. However, I was forced to download this app in order to receive any notifications for errors or empty cartridges. The app has never worked for me since purchasing the new model earlier this year.

I open the app and can't do anything in it. No matter what I try to click on it just does nothing, just stays on the home screen. I can't even get to the device page to turn off auto cycles, so I can run a maintenance cycle. Super frustrating
