The program is full of bugs and glitches. I'm recording. It even shows the time, but when I stop the movie, there's no recording at all. When I stop the movie completely, the notification stays in the same state and doesn't respond at all. The only positive thing is that the sound doesn't stop when the game mic is on, or you have AirPods. The program is full of bugs. If you can fix it, the program is officially broken.

CatRec is a screen recorder that does more than record. Capture your screen with sound, save the moment that just happened, edit it, and go live, all from one app.
● SCREEN RECORDING
• Record in high quality with game/app sound, your microphone, or both
• Adjust your mic volume and keep recording even if the mic is taken by another app
• Face cam overlay, or save the face cam as its own video
• Floating button to start, pause and stop from any app
• Record audio only, take screenshots and scrolling screenshots
• Auto-stop after a set time or file size, and choose what happens when the screen locks
• Privacy mode turns on Do Not Disturb while you record
• Save your favourite setups as profiles

Clipper quietly keeps the last 30 seconds of your screen. Tap the Quick Settings tile or shake your phone to save it, even as a GIF. Perfect for that clutch play you didn't plan to record.

Its only purpose is to let CatRec keep recording your microphone while a game or voice chat app is using it too, so your teammates can still hear you. It stays off unless you turn it on in Settings → "Fix game chat mic" and agree to the explanation shown in the app. It doesn't read your screen content, see what you type, tap or perform gestures, or collect or share any data. You can turn it off anytime in your phone's Accessibility settings.
● PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your recordings stay on your phone. CatRec never uploads them. Stream keys are stored encrypted on your device.
