I'll be honest... customer appreciation used to be such that when a merchant ran a deal, gave a reward or a discount, it was meaningful. Not that I'm not enjoying a free cup of coffee but, the other "rewards" are buy one, get one on products that are over valued in the first place so, what you're offering isn't a savings, you're simply rewarding me by offering me a fair price... and that's no reward at all, it's a shell game and Americans have had it with corporate nonsense!
