I can't remember ever leaving a positive review for an app before. This fan wobble was causing us to lose sleep. I've balanced ceiling fans for 20 year just by eye, but we bought this massive 6ft diameter 8 blade fan hanging on a 4ft drop pole, and I was moving my test weights around trying to eyeball it and getting nowhere. So I gave this app a try. It was shocking how good this app was. Lay phone on something steady, and follow instructions. My fan doesn't even move now. Rock solid.

It worked really well and balanced my fan! It can be a bit finicky to use in that it's a bit picky with how big the dot you draw is and can be a bit picky with lighting. I had to turn off the light on my ceiling fan and then point a different light directly upwards at the fan so that the app could see the dot and also recognize the fan blades. There was a bit of a learning curve to get started, but after I understood how it worked out was really easy to use.

Can't believe it worked. It was very fiddly with the camera position and lighting in the room while checking the wobble. But once I got high "accuracy" for all the blades everything went smoothly. I added the weights it prescribed, and it balanced a fan that I haven't been able to balance for 5 years. Amazing.

Absolutely does not work with white fan blades on white ceiling. This is the most common fan combination in my country.

Couldn't get it to detect any wobble at all with masking tape or a penny taped to the light dome. The tips are pretty good though because I did have a loose blade. Fan still wobbles though.

Didn't work... App just says "Something Went Wrong" at the end of the process and I don't know what to do from here. Also, instructions regarding the "clips" are not clear. Do you need 1 clip per blade and then supposed to add a clip to each blade as you progress OR are you supposed to just move ONE clip from one blade to another? Anyway, I tried it both ways and got the same result...

The dot tracking system doesn't work reliably regardless of position, distance, size, lighting e.t.c. Then if by some miracle it tracks the dot for more than 20 seconds, the blade tracking is "inaccurate". I wish I could have the hours of my life back I wasted trying to get this to work.
