Our HOA uses cellmate. I have had great experience with the app. I needed help in getting things set up again when I upgraded my phone. In the process of working with Freddy in customer help I learned that I had set up our account in such a way that it could cause issues with getting our gate calls. Freddy was so patient, HELPFUL and clear in his explanation of a system that I knew nothing about. Wonderful job by Freddy!! 5star rating and grateful user appreciation!! Kudos

Works about 60% of the time then just will not open or forces you to uninstall then reinstall to get to work again. Asks for permissions every time you open the app even when they are already granted.

Totally broken now. Never notifies me when someone calls from the gate. By the time I get a phone call it disconnects. Please fix these issues!

This community is starting to use Cellmate. My biggest issues concern the amount of control that Cellmate allows the HOA to have. This HOA controls what your gate code is. The HOA can change your gate code at will. The HOA can deny entry into the community at will. The HOA keeps records of when you come and go. The HOA controls how many visitors you have and when. There is No security when this kind of control is given to the HOA. Shame Cellmate.
