No matter where in the world you happen to be, when a visitor arrives you will receive text, email or voice alerts to your cell phone. Then simply send an open command to any gate anywhere in the U.S.

Our HOA uses cellmate. I have had great experience with the app. I needed help in getting things set up again when I upgraded my phone. In the process of working with Freddy in customer help I learned that I had set up our account in such a way that it could cause issues with getting our gate calls. Love it. Had for three years. Just camel across the ratings. I've had openers that cost 2 to 3 times more, but this is better. Easy to use. Can open remotely from anywhere in the world (with phone service)

It won't connect when it rings. My screen is still black when it calling from the gate. Because of that I'm not able to let anyone through. Office said it must be my phone, that's crazy.

Works about 60% of the time then just will not open or forces you to uninstall then reinstall to get to work again. Asks for permissions every time you open the app even when they are already granted.

This community is starting to use Cellmate. My biggest issues concern the amount of control that Cellmate allows the HOA to have. This HOA controls what your gate code is. The HOA can change your gate code at will. The HOA can deny entry into the community at will. The HOA keeps records of when you come and go. The HOA controls how many visitors you have and when. There is No security when this kind of control is given to the HOA. Shame Cellmate.
