Before I found this app, getting real information about my cell service was a pain. If I wanted to see the true quality of my signal or figure out where my cell tower was, I had to use 4 or 5 different apps. It was a fragmented mess of tools I had to jump between. With Cell Info, all that hassle is gone. Now, I get all the deep, technical insight I need in one place. It’s super intuitive, it cleans up my phone by letting me delete those other utility apps, and I finally feel like I have control.

Very detailed cellular info including estimated channel coding rates, MIMO layers, aggregated bandwidth, etc. that I haven't seen in other non-root Apps. Just a pity it uses ads that make the free version unusable as a passenger, e.g. every time I opened the app to check a tower I'm passing, it played a full screen unskippable video ad, after which my phone handed off to another tower.

Tower map does not work. Needs API key that does not work

May as well be classified as adware. Open the app to get an ad I am unable to close. Don't download.
