This is a great app for those looking for a way to memorize/learn something in a known way. It's absolutely helped me with learning and remembering vocabulary and concepts for microbiology. The only complaint I have is that you have no way of sorting the lessons/assignments. It's maddening that it's in a random order and not in alphabetical. It really throws off my groove when I have to scroll and look at each module to find the one I need. Would be 5 stars if it weren't for this issue.

There is a known bug with the app not sending notifications despite having them enabled through both the app and android. Defeats the purpose of downloading the app if I'm not getting notified of when I can review items again since time-frames for review are staggered. Customer service states it's a known bug, and they're working on it. However, there's a review from five months ago stating they weren't receiving notifications. Fix your app that hasn't had an update here since February 2023.

Cerego used to be great, and I used to recommend it to everyone. Not anymore. It has consistently gotten worse over the last two years. They are developing the platform, but not fully testing changes and slowly making it less user-friendly for those who want to make their own content. They have removed the ability to make series on their website and now custom series won't appear on the app. There is a bug with the Knowledge Bank where new sets that you make won't appear on the app or in the Knowledge Bank search results until you have started learning the set. I am close to giving up on them and looking for a more reliable platform to transfer all my content to.

Overall I enjoy the app for its straightforward approach for learning vocabulary. However, there are some annoyances with the app that make it more cumbersome for me to use casually. Namely, the annoyance of the text animation -- waiting for it to slowly appear. It should be instantaneous for every card, but the app present a slow textual reveal for every new word. It's a fraction of a second but it legitimately takes more time than for me to answer. Sounds also can't be muted.
