Cerere by Botana AI

Botana AI, with Cerere, your digital agronomist. Made for Sicily, built with Sicilian farmers.

What should you grow on this field, and what will it earn you? Cerere looks at your soil, your climate, your water and your costs, and ranks the crops that suit your land, field by field.

START BY TALKING
Tell Cerere where your land is and what grows on it, by typing or by voice. She asks a few questions, you draw your field on the map, and you see what fits. No forms, no technical knowledge needed.

WHAT YOU GET
• Your fields on the map, each with its soil and its climate
• A ranking of crops for every field, with a Botana Score from 0 to 100 across soil, climate, water, profit and risk
• Costs, revenue and estimated profit per crop, and you can replace any price or cost with your own
• Weather alerts for the field that is actually hit, with what to do about it
• Olive, citrus, almond, pistachio, carob, avocado and more: the young years of a new orchard are counted, not hidden
• Photograph a sick leaf and ask Cerere what it could be
• Photograph your soil analysis and the app reads it for you

WHAT IT IS BUILT ON
• More than 300 crops and varieties, including Sicilian durum landraces such as Russello, Timilia and Perciasacchi
• Thirty years of daily weather at your field's own coordinates, a seven-day forecast and a seasonal outlook
• World soil maps at your exact point. Your own lab analysis always replaces the estimate
• Water needs calculated month by month with the FAO method

AN AGRONOMIST BEHIND THE APP
Cerere works with your agronomist, never instead of them. On the annual plan, our agronomists review your farm twice a year, in autumn and in spring.

FREE TO START
Create your account without a card and see your own fields, your weather alerts and a preview of what suits your land. The full numbers, the advice on each alert, photo diagnosis and the agronomist reviews are part of the Cerere plan.

• Home and the desk always read each field's latest preview
• The crop list reminds you that you can search for more
• Small fixes
