Description
THE SOCIAL FOR EVERYTHING. yes, everything.
Cetera is a low-pressure social where you and your friends can share daily thoughts, media, and life updates without pressure to perform. Post about your morning coffee, a random thought, the song on repeat, your favorite show, etc... the big stuff AND the small stuff.
HOW CETERA WORKS
1. Make a post that fits the moment: add photos, songs, weather, movies, books, and more. 2. Choose who sees it (everyone, friends, close friends, or just you) and how long it stays up. 3. Keep the convo going: comment, reply to start a private chat, or create a group chat.
WHAT YOU’LL FIND ON CETERA • Posts that look good, even when you don’t have ‘the perfect photo’ • Emoji reactions on posts and messages • A friends-only feed for your community and discovery feeds for meeting new people • Privacy controls that are simple and flexible • A profile that you can customize with colorful backgrounds and more
Inclusive by design and queer-created.

Unlike any other social media out there! So many unique features, no bots, guaranteed interactions, and the community is so kind and funny!

I love egge! The community is really friendly so far, I love that there's an option to post to friends only as well as an option to hide posts underneath a brief description for tws and stuff! The devs are all super sweet from what ive seen. Excited to see this app grow

Posting on a throwaway, so people don't harass me further. App is poorly optimized, and the user base is incredibly transphobic and inters exist, and staff actively is not acknowledging the public harassment of users as a wide scale problem, as well as how people threaten users of the app who report things for being against TOS if the user is popular enough. This app is not safe for minorities that are not tokenized by others, both because of the user base at large and moderator decisions.

My account got deleted because apparently saying the word "pedophilia" is triggering in the context of posting about them not being okay and not being okay with the repeatedly attempts to downplay it to "pros hip discourse" you know what's triggering? Having to share a space with people who think my childhood trauma is hot. (edited for going a bit too far before. I still disagree with how this is being handled, but that was a really bold accusation that I am sorry for making)

Terribly moderated app. Users harass others for hours to days and the mods refuse to step in. don't download it and let it die out as it deserves to. Someone had a seizure and attempted to hurt themselves and mods took the side of the harassers. Genuinely unsafe
