Love CeX the stores are great, staff are usually very friendly but the website seems to work better than the app and prices don't always seem to be accurate on either compared to in store. Since my nearest store is an hour's walk I tend to check the app first but when I get there the prices are different sometimes making my travel meaningless.

DON'T PURCHASE FROM THIS APP, I have verified with multiple games and consoles that they are often listed more expensive on the app than the item is in the store Example-Minecraft Xbox 360 is listed £10 however in store £8 Skyrim £8 on app/ in store £1.50 - this app accessively charges over price of in store purchase - and what's the deal of buying dvds for 1p but selling them again for £1/£1.50?

Aug 2026 You're really trying to break this completely. Now all items on my Favorites list show as available in my local store (they're not). My favorites list just reverted to one from 6 months ago. MAY 2025. And again, an update completely breaks the app. Just a slowly sliding white screen. Each update seems to make it slower. The app now loads more quickly than before, but loading favorites or returning search results takes so long, I often think it has frozen.

Current issues: 1. No dark mode 2. Search keeps a horizontal list with the oldest first so lots of swiping, also you cannot edit previous searches 3. Scanning cex receipts feedback qr codes opens the app and nothing happens, you have to disable the app first and this opens the site 4. Location (nearest store with stock check) is currently broken on latest version (I have location permissions set, tried with and without precise location, also tried to allow all the time or set to ask each time, nowt)
