This app does right what it has to do right: smart navigation (from viewing an album to all music by album artist for example), proper playlist navigation and a fine home screen (last played albums, most played albums, random suggestions). In short: much what the Kore app lacks. Although I still use Kore as remote.

Perfect in most ways and way better than Kore. I'd give it more than four, but I'm using it as PVR remote only, and it seems like I can't choose that
as start. Also, when hiding menus the music and movies tabs are still there.
I'd like a PVR tab too.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I am thinking of upgrading to the paid version. Is it possible to see thumbnail images of videos in kodi library in mobile appp? (currently it doesn't show any thumbnails)

Can't seem to connect to a kodi instance over https.

Avoid this Virus, when a video is playing it locks the phone, so the phone can't be used. Every time I unlock it just locks it again which means I can't stop the video or the app to get back into my phone (until the video stops on its own at which point I uninstalled it)

Version 5 is complete trash, so many issues I can't even list them, going back to older versions. Update, they have done something to this, it keeps saying it cannot connect, but it is connected, every time you come back to the app (switch to another app & back) it askes you to sign in, even though I never set up a user & password, if you set up a user & password, it tells you it is wrong, complete trash. Too bad, it was a very nice app, now is garbage. Tried on another device, exact same trash!

Not great. Cover art for albums in my collection that I access via Kodi mysteriously won't load, all of them popular well known albums. Really annoying, even if there is some fix I can't be arsed with an app that couldn't even manage cover art properly - it should just work. Use one of the other many Kodi remote control apps that can manage this better.
