Description

Chant mahamantra also called as Japa counter is a simple and comfortable virtual chanting app on your android. This app built very beautifully with user friendly UI interface. We designed this app to fulfill the spiritual needs of a person. This also helps to set reminder for next round of chanting. You can Chant for 108 times and 16 rounds and set reminder to chant again and no need to remember that you chanted.

Maha-mantra - Maha means “great” and mantra means “sacred chant for deliverance.” Of all mantras in the Vedas, one is called the Maha-mantra, or great mantra:

Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna
Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare
Hare Rama, Hare Rama
Rama Rama, Hare Hare.

The Vedas recommend that in the present age the most effective means for achieving self-realization is to always hear about, glorify, and remember the all-good Supreme Lord, who is known by many names. One of these names is “Krishna” which means “He who is all-attractive,” another is “Rama” which means “He who is the reservoir of all pleasure,” and “Hare” indicates the Lord’s inconceivable energy. When chanted the maha-mantra is a petition to God: “O Krishna, O energy of Krishna, please engage me in Your service.” This sublime chanting puts us directly in touch with the Supreme Lord through the sound vibration of His holy names and gradually awakens us to our original relationship with God.
