Charger Tester: Ampere Meter

Test your charger and measure charging speed in real time.

Charger Tester: Ampere Meter shows charging current, amps, watts, voltage and battery temperature, and helps you compare chargers and charging cables.

TEST YOUR CHARGER

Want to know how your charger is actually charging your phone?

Connect your charger and see the charging information reported by your Android device in real time.

Check useful measurements including:

• Charging current in mA and amps
• Charging power in watts
• Battery voltage
• Battery temperature
• Battery level
• Charging status
• Charging source where supported

AMPERE METER

Use the real-time ampere meter to monitor the charging current received by your phone.

Charging current can change depending on your charger, USB cable, battery level, temperature and phone usage. Charger Tester updates the available measurements while your device is charging.

MEASURE CHARGING POWER

See charging power calculated from the current and voltage values reported by your device.

Quickly check amps, watts and voltage without complicated menus.

Use Charger Tester: Ampere Meter when you want to understand whether changing your charger or cable affects the charging performance seen by your phone.

COMPARE CHARGERS

Not sure which charger performs better with your device?

Test one charger, save the result and compare it with another charger.

Compare measured values such as charging current, charging power, voltage, battery temperature, average results and peak measurements.

This makes it easy to compare different wall chargers using the same phone.

COMPARE CHARGING CABLES

The charging cable can also affect charging performance.

Use the same charger with different USB cables and compare the charging current and power reported by your phone.

This can help you identify differences between cables and charger setups.

REAL-TIME CHARGING MONITOR

Watch your charging measurements update while your phone is plugged in.

See current charging data in one clean screen without complicated setup.

Useful when checking a new charger, testing a USB cable or investigating slow charging.

SAVE CHARGER TESTS

Save previous charger tests so you can compare results later.

Give your chargers or cables recognizable names and keep a simple history of your tests.

Compare different setups without having to remember previous measurements.

BATTERY TEMPERATURE

Monitor the battery temperature reported by Android while your phone is charging.

Battery temperature may change depending on the charger, device usage, battery level, environment and phone model.

SIMPLE CHARGING TESTER

Charger Tester: Ampere Meter can help you:

• Test phone chargers
• Measure charging current
• Check amps and watts
• View battery voltage
• Monitor battery temperature
• Compare chargers
• Compare charging cables
• Check charging speed
• Investigate slow charging
• Monitor charging performance in real time

DEVICE COMPATIBILITY

Charging information is provided by Android and your device hardware.

Available measurements can vary between manufacturers and phone models. Some Android devices may not expose every charging value.

When a measurement is unavailable, Charger Tester does not fabricate a value.

Charging power displayed by the app is based on current and voltage information reported by your phone. It is not a direct measurement of the electrical output from the wall charger.

For the most useful charger comparisons, test chargers on the same phone under similar battery level, temperature and usage conditions.

TEST, MEASURE & COMPARE

Use Charger Tester: Ampere Meter to test charging speed, monitor amps, watts and voltage, and compare chargers and USB charging cables on your Android phone.
