Well job Martin so far its strongest among rival android checkers, but it needs to be updated and more powerful like kings row. Or it should be like checkerboard enabling kings row engine.

Plays much better than the prettier ones There are lots of drafts / checkers programs in Google Play. Many look prettier than this one, but I haven't found one that gives a better game. Well worth getting.

Checkers Tutor 2.1 is the strongest American (straight) checker program for the Android OS. 1. Reviews say you can't turn sound off (the knocking sound when a piece move); however, you can increase or decrease sound or cut it off with the volume button on your device with settings, but easiest way in by menu. 2. Can't store games or access a games' folder. (It will however keep your current game when you reopen, if you pause, shut down, or power off, if you don't request a new game). 3. Can't edit board to set up a position, problem, (remove pieces) or Search for it in a database of games, or send it by email? OK 4. You can however get a position by playing both sides, then ask computer to move to see its move or evaluation. 5. Can't find menu which is 3 vertical dots, tap it for drop-down menu. I did notice if you play it on horizontal (landscape) dots doesn't work on Nu Vision SOLO 8. 6. Checkers Tutor search at 1s/moves,5s/move depth 13/23 or 15s/move at depth 14/25, and at 60s/move you get depths 17/28., which has been replaced with red/white better, equal, or win. Runs OK on Samsung Galaxy Tab3, Asus Nexus 7, Nu Vision /Android 5.0. Lollipop, Nu Vision Solo/7.0 Nougat.

This is certainly an abandoned project and have to be removed from Play. No way to access Menu in the new phones even with any "old menu button" simulators. Pity. It's supposed to be a good engine.

What a disappointment! I tried Checkers Tutor for Android on my Galaxy S7 edge and was stuck on 'Pushover level'. There was no menu to change the levels etc. I then tried it on my old Galaxy S3: exactly the same - no menu to change the levels. There are loads of FREE checkers programs in the Google Play Store with options to change levels and undo moves. I gather nobody has managed to get a reply from the author (who knows there may be a simple trick to access the menu). There are probably lots of refunds due and not claimed in respect of Checkers Tutor for Android, however I'm not going to bother to claim, because of the small amount involved. I wasted a lot of time trying to find the elusive menu for Checkers Tutor for Android. What a pity; according to its own Tips it could have been a good game. Never mind there are lots of free checkers programs with levels from novice up to expert. Very disappointed.
