Description by Alstig, Inc(from Google Play)
ChefScale is the kitchen calculator built by a restaurant operator, not a software company. Scale any recipe up or down, know the true cost of every plate, and keep your recipes at your station — right from your phone.
Whether you're prepping for a Tuesday lunch or scaling gumbo for 300, ChefScale does the math that gets scribbled on prep sheets and lost — instantly, and it works with no signal in the walk-in.
SCALE ANY RECIPE • Scale by servings or batch size, up or down, instantly • Smart unit conversion — cups to quarts, grams to pounds • Fractions kitchen people actually use (½, ¾ — not 0.6667)
COST EVERY PLATE • Track ingredient prices and get live cost-per-plate on every recipe • See margins move when prices change • Know what a menu item really costs before you print the price
BUILT FOR SERVICE • Offline-first — the walk-in has no bars and neither does your prep list • Scan printed recipes with the camera to bring them in fast • Prep sheets that read clean at arm's length on a busy line
FREE TO START The core scaler is free. ChefScale Pro unlocks unlimited recipes, costing, and scan imports.
Built by ALSTIG INC — restaurant technology from 35 years in real kitchens.
