I just ordered the sous vide, and was checking out the app. Looks great, I'm so excited to start! (Will review more once the device arrives.) Only suggestion is on the recipes sometimes the options get lost because it's white text over light background in some of the videos. Other than that it looks gorgeous. I love the steps and videos combined, and the calculator is awesome!

App is trash, connects to Wi-Fi only if Bluetooth connects first. Disabling Bluetooth will force the app to pester you about connecting to Bluetooth, so you can connect to Wi-Fi, even if Wi-Fi is already set up. Returning the Chef man sous vide because this app is complete trash - way to go!

Wi-Fi will not connect. I have a 2.4 GHz network that I set up just for devices like this (my GMG smoker, thermoforms smoke gateway, etc.) They all work fine, a different brand sous vide cooker works just fine. I even set up an another router to test. Still cannot get the device to switch to Wi-Fi. I even tried my spare Chef man cooker. It will not connect to Wi-Fi.
