Pathetic Customer Service. I topped up 4 days back. The money deducted from my bank account and even after successful payment, it does not appear in the cheq wallet. I did several follow-ups on WhatsApp. Every time their customer care says wait for 2–3 hours, but there is no progress. Their helpline number hung up the call after an automated voice response.

This app is a scam. They charge 1400rp for verification, allow me to extract money to my wallet, and then the app does not work. There is no support available. The telephone numbers are disconnected, they do not answer WhatsApp or email. Save yourself the hassle and stick to cash. It's a pity, this would be so convenient. Now I am forced to deal with my credit card company to dispute this. So happy I did not connect bank account.

Incredibly glitchy. This app could be simple and useable, but has instead been the bain of my existence while travelling through India. If it's not authentication errors that eat uptime with customer service it's a payment network outage or the fact that OTPs can take 7 minutes to arrive. Add to that the fact that there's an effective 3% fee on all wallet funds PLUS the inability to pay individual UPI accounts. Learn from China's Alipay for foreigners and make something that works!
