The developer replied promptly to my inquiry and promised to update the app, for which I am very grateful. I have updated my review to 4 stars for such prompt response. The voice recognition does not work in Offline mode (i.e. when there is no mobile network), although Google voice would work offline on other apps. I live in a poor mobile signal area and mobile network is therefore unreliable. Could you change that please to make the voice command to work offline? Also, the icon for the microphone (to input the voice command) is too small. I paid for the shaking option, but I need to shake the phone quite strongly and it is not convenient. Therefore, to input a voice command I need to look at the screen and then carefully touch the small icon, which is distracting and inconvenient. Could you please make the option of voice command as being either ON or OFF? When it is ON, then I could touch any part of the screen for the voice command. Alternatively, an option to move the board to the top and then allow touching any part of the bottom screen (where there is no board) for the voice command. Also, the voice recognition is not really that good, as most commands are not recognized. Additionally, the fact that I need to input the moves in 2 separate sequences it would add a delay. It would be better if I just say the destination square if there is only one possible move to that part or otherwise just saying the full sequence (Start & End squares) in one sentence. Therefore, the voice command (the main reason for downloading this app) is too poorly implemented currently, as it would be faster to simply move the piece on the screen (instead of looking at the screen to find and then touch carefully the small microphone icon, then spent long time to get the 2 sentences and then even longer to getting the app to recognize the voice command).

Bad voice commands (can't process name of piece to xx square, eg "knight to F3") and having to press the mic every time to say a move makes it all pointless

Sorry voice commands do not work on this app which defeats the point of the app - sorry to have to give it lne star.

Even though it will say your move back to you for example e4 it won't actually move to that space making voice control useless.
