Play chess, practise your next move and build your skills at your own pace. Chess: Play Practice & Puzzles brings offline chess against an AI opponent, tactical practice and chess puzzles together in one Android board game.

PLAY CHESS OFFLINE
Start a chess game against the computer without needing an internet connection. Choose your game settings, study the board and take your time planning each move. Use the move history to revisit the position and follow how the game develops.

PRACTISE AGAINST AN AI OPPONENT
Make each match a chance to learn. Ask for a hint when you need an idea, undo a move to explore another approach, or open the analysis controls to study a position. From the opening moves to the endgame, you can work through decisions at a pace that suits you.

SOLVE CHESS PUZZLES
Explore the Puzzles and Practice sections to train your tactical thinking. Look for threats, plan combinations and practise finding the move that changes the position. Puzzle play is a useful way to spend a few focused minutes with the chessboard.

A CLEAR, CENTRED CHESSBOARD
Enjoy a large, centred board with readable pieces, player panels and simple game controls. Move history, hints and a new-game confirmation help you stay in control while you play.

CHOOSE YOUR CHESS STYLE
Use the warm brown-and-white Walnut theme for a classic board-game feel. Watch an optional rewarded ad, when available, to permanently unlock the black Midnight theme on your device. Your theme choice is saved for your next session. Clearing app data or reinstalling removes the local unlock.

PLAY ONLINE WITH FICS
The optional online chess section connects to a compatible Internet Chess Server. Online play needs an internet connection and server availability. You can also return to offline play whenever you want.
