Pretty Good Problems Most chess players are unfamiliar with the crazy world of chess problems. Problems are composed positions, written by "Problems", and each problem presents a theme or an idea that the problems is trying to get across.

Forces me to think... Since the pieces don't move and only the first move is given in the solutions, this forces me to think. Best is to set up a board on harder problems. If I cannot solve it, I will star it and come back later. Would be a better program if it mimicked the app "Tactics"

Chessman No solutions given, opponents moved not forced. Unhelpful to learn anything about chess.

Junk not true Can't move pieces. Lie, too many variables. Opponent should have no other possible moves but to move exactly the pieces that lead it to be checkmated. Example: king is checked by a piece and has absolutely no other options but to take that piece. Then next piece is moved into position for checkmate. Also, whole solutions not shown but partials prove me right; other moves are possible.

Not informative. States how many moves to check but doesn't follow through and show how, only shows the next move. Can't learn from this.
