Great variety from real games Has hundreds of two to three move puzzles that really get your head thinking (all that I've done so far). It is great that all these stem from real games so they can be reviewed in full if you think it was a clever checkmate. Going on from 2-3 move checkmates, the 4 to 10 move ones will be really difficult (but I managed a cheeky ten move one the other day!) Maybe I'm getting better already.

Very nice application. This is a very nice practical app, which I use every day. However there are a few problems I noticed. Few can be attributed to the chess engine: does not allow underpromotions, does not play the strongest moves and thus allows false solutions and 5 move solutions to 7 move problems. Possible features that would be useful: ability to mark nice problems and copy/paste/save of individual positions.

Good but some issues Nice graphics, solid styling, nice touch that problems can be created. MIO 007 has blacks previous move missing ie pawn - b7 allowing en passant capture for mate. maybe more issues are to be found but so far excellent. Previous review commenting on IMO 010 needs to revisit the board the solution is sound
★★☆☆☆
Doesn't always replicate moves referenced games.. For example: "Joseph Blackburne vs Hodson 1889, Manchester, mate in 4": the actual correct moves are white pawn to f4, then black bishop xf4, white rook xf4... (afterwhich, black RESIGNS!) however, the app does not follow those moves- which renders the puzzle unsolvable, even if black had not resigned... Look it up, I finally did, after 2 weeks of daily trying to solve it!

Good aps for free rather to buy books on chess puzzles.

Nice puzzles, but next puzzle button does not work and sometimes will not mark a puzzle complete after finishing it.

Cant see solution U cant see solutions of the problems
