Chime - SMS organiser

Chime is a privacy-first SMS client for Android. A model running entirely on your phone sorts every thread into Personal, OTP, Banking, Promos, Carrier, and Spam — and it never leaves the device. No cloud processing, no account required, no telemetry.

ON-DEVICE CATEGORIZATION
A pre-trained classifier sorts incoming messages automatically. Correct a category and the model retrains locally — it gets smarter without uploading a thing.

CUSTOM CATEGORIES
Create your own categories with keyword heuristics and tune each one's classification weight by hand.

SCHEDULED MESSAGES
Queue a message for later. Delivery is handled by WorkManager, so it goes out even if Chime isn't open.

FULL-TEXT SEARCH
An FTS4 index makes search instant across every thread, auto-focused the moment you open it.

MOVE WITH UNDO
Long-press to move a thread between categories. A floating pill gives you a four-second undo window.

CUSTOM SWIPE ACTIONS
Set what left and right swipes do per thread — archive, delete, mark read, your call.

MEDIA GALLERY
Every photo and MMS attachment in a thread, laid out in its own gallery view.

TRASH, NOT DELETE
Deleted conversations sit in Trash before they're gone for good.

MONOCHROME THEME
Dynamic Material You color, or a static black-and-white scheme — with Rounded, Squared, or Extra-rounded corners throughout.
