Played with a traditional 40 or 48-card Spanish deck—featuring the suits of oros (coins), copas (cups), espadas (swords), and bastos (clubs)—Chinchón is the perfect blend of strategy, luck, and family fun.

How to Play Chinchón

Players: 2 or more players can compete individually.

Deck: 40-card or 48-card Spanish deck, optionally including jokers.

Objective: Form sets (same-rank cards) or runs (sequential cards of the same suit) to minimize your score.

Gameplay:
Each player is dealt 7 cards.
One card is placed face-up beside the deck to start the discard pile.
On your turn, draw a card (from deck or discard pile) and discard one.
Try to close the hand when your cards are well-organized.

Scoring
Close the hand with two valid sets (4+3): –10 points
Run of 7 cards with:
2 jokers: –25 points
1 joker: –50 points
No jokers (Chinchón): Win the game instantly!

Remaining cards in hand count against you. Players are eliminated when they exceed the pre-agreed point limit.
