This app is excellent, I wish there was a way to hide pinyin or English though. The ads are a bit intrusive in the free version, but they don't restrict any content and the pro version is cheap enough that it doesn't matter.

This is a very detailed and realistic list of dialogues. It is a lot of fun and very, very concise. I feel that with this app I'll be able to master Chinese in a very short time. In practice test you're only given about 1–2 seconds to read what you're supposed to say before it keeps beeping, spamming "Say again!!" and opening Google speech recognition pop-up. If you say even one word it quickly continues conversation - there's no time to see what's wrong and what you were supposed to say. Nice idea but sloppy implementation. Only tested 2 conversations so far and already 5 errors where it shows incorrect pinyin (same symbol). Ex: 什么 as shíme instead of shenme.

Sadly this app doesn't work for me. The microphone button is greyed out and when you tap it, it either has no reaction or it briefly shows red with no change. I can't work out if it's me or the app; suffice to say it doesn't listen my feedback so doesn't work. :(If it worked, I'd pay for it!
