Excellent Content Congratulations on creating a great learning tool. I'm giving 5 stars for the content not the app, which is adequate but could be improved slightly. The content is very good and applicable in all kinds of every day life situations. I particularly enjoy the expansion section where the new vocabulary is used in different contexts. I only really have one criticism and that is; there needs to be a COMPLETE TRANSCRIPTION for all media lessons. Otherwise great work fom cp team!

Top app Great way to study Chinese. I've tried quite a few, but Chinesepod really has it all.

Content good but expensive, app frustrating. While the content itself is very good, if you're a casual learner like me and listen to maybe one lesson per day on average, the subscription model at over 20 Euros per month is ridiculously expensive and feels like a rip-off. In addition to that, there is no curriculum you can follow, just 5 or 6 difficulty levels. The first difficulty level has several hundred short lessons in no apparent order. Compare this to talktomeinkorean where you buy lesson packs from a curriculum of 10 levels that build on one another for a very affordable price. The app itself is rather frustrating as well. For every little action like opening the library, filtering for the difficulty level (why do I have to tell the app every single time that I'm a newbie?) contacts the server, which takes up to ten seconds, and during that time the UI is blocked. This is not thought through. 2 stars for the good content, but I'm still canceling my subscription after 2 months.

Buggy and crashes all the time. When this app works it works great, but unfortunately it frequently crashes and has got a lot worse recently. When listening to audio it very often (10-20 times a day) cuts out and you have to restart it. Now, after an update, every time I try and go into the vocabulary section, it crashes, meaning I have to restart the app. I am now unable to use that part of the app, which is very annoying considering the amount of money I pay each month for the course.
