One of my ALL-TIME favorite places to learn Chinese! But the option for "Traditional Characters" is grayed out. So minus some points. I logged into the website and changed my preference to Traditional, and logged back into the app, but the characters are still simplified under the "expansion" area for each audio. Also, the "player" for audio is glitchy. I wish there was a normal notification, constantly docked in the app, and in the system's notification panel.

It's working again, very well! Thank you so much! The only feature I miss is listening training. It would be nice if every sentence could be saved to the decks like on the website. And then the audio could be repeated for training listening. Like in the decks' app. If that worked offline it would be perfect! 😁

That was absolutely awesome!!!! Thanks for making such kind of thing. Although I am an English not a Chines' student I like this app and the videos that are in it. I like to learn Chines as well as English. Thanks Manor

Amazing content, love the app! App used to be buggy, but I believe it is actively worked on so that's nice!

I'm a follower and fan of Chinese in spotify, I'm taking it further with the app as suggested in the podcast in spotify. Only thing is there are so many versions of the app, I suggest it to be unified into one app to make it user-friendly

The lessons are good, but this app is not acceptable by today's standards (would have been ok 10 years ago maybe), given also the price of the premium subscription.

★☆☆☆☆ Julian Lim · Jan 23, 2020

I paid for premium services for several months but never managed to get access. Wrote to Chinese pod support and was asked to provide my Google Pay history to prove I actually did subscribe. After sending in the payment history there was no response, and I've been waiting for w weeks now. Based on this experience I have come to the conclusion that Chinese pod is now just run by bots.

Constantly crashing. Edit 2 years later: Two years later, still constantly crashing. App is an absolute disaster. Use their web browser on the PC. More edits months later: app doesn't even open anymore. It's a shame. The chinese learning content is good but the app is a 0/10. More months later: app still doesn't even open, even on a new phone. Edit again: 3 different phones over 3 years, app has never really worked for me. It doesn't even load.
