Excerpts of reviews over 10 years of use: May 24, 2019: keep getting messages that I can't upload MMS messages and to check my APN settings. Searches tell me the issue may be on your end??? Update July 30, 2022: I had uninstalled for a while and after reinstalling, its working well again. 2025 installed Google text loved rcs, but it quit working properly. 2026 reinstalled Chomp, its working fine but miss rcs and group texting options.

I have tried MANY messaging apps before finding CHOMP SMS. This is the app I will be using to replace the Samsung Messenger app that will be discontinued in July. The Google replacement is the lamest messenger app I've tried. CHOMP SMS does everything I need and has many extras. One of the things I like is the ability to change themes. You can choose a theme that resembles the Samsung colors or make your own theme. I'll be making the one time purchase to get rid of the Ads. Give CHOMP a try.

I'm a paid subscriber. Downgraded 5-star review to a 2 star. Some of the same problems that they had years ago have resurfaced again in the last few updates. I am getting more stage fright errors, when the people resend their texts most times it comes through with no error. When you attach a contact now it only shows the contact name and instead of the phone number this problem was noted back in 2016. Trying to log into their site for support has been of fiasco. I've not been able to log in.

App has stopped sending/receiving messages. Switched back to phone's default messaging app, and started receiving messages again. Will be sticking with the default, or finding a new app.

Still love Chomp but recently my groups texts involving Apple users are not coming through! I have to use the default app for now. Hopefully they fix this!
