I can literally play any every song I've ever wanted to. The 'simplify' button makes any song with advanced chords or songs with many chord changes that require a lot of dexterity of the hand and wrist and simplifies them into easier chords or less chord transitions until your skills and dexterity are strong enough to play them in their original composition. It's also very versatile in terms of use for musicians as it allows you to switch between 4 instruments!!! 👍🏼😍🤩

As a beginner at piano I was surprised how useful this app really is! There are many ways to make a piece of music simple enough to actually understand the notes on the keyboard. I know there are other instruments on their like guitar, ukulele, etc. but this app is just good enough for learning piano for now. Another cool feature is learning some of your favorite songs with audio and the notes to better understand what you're getting at. I loved this feature. Hope this review helps!

Impossible to Use Codify! Poor customer service. IMPOSSIBLE to use Codify from website, app etc... In Wi-Fi mode. Impossible to. Play any songs YouTube on Codify. It shows this message" Something went wrong. There was a problem loading this video. YouTube may block access for Vpn users, so if you're currently using one, please try disabling it. If the issue persist, contact us." Note that I never used vpn and this is a very new problem. Henry is so useless, I want to make a complaint

They give watch ads option to play songs without premium. After you watch the ads, they still won't let the song synchronization to be played. So technically they lied and wasted your time by making you watch ads.

FYI any actual functionality you could get from this app comes in the top tier of payment. And the monthly model tells you exactly their intent. Grifters that dress up a core functionality - chord transcription - with all manner of bells and whistles that don't really matter. On the scale of big tech vs real musicians this app sits on the lap of shareholder primacy. Barf. Yuk.

Says there are lyrics with each song, but I tried three songs in a row and kept getting the message no lyrics available yet. These were 30 years old main stay songs. Deleted app and asked for refund.

UPDATE 5/06/26 App prohibits login. Uninstalled & reinstalled, no fix. I'm a Premium Plus subscriber & no human reply to support email. ***Update 3/28/2026*** This app remains unstable, mostly on weekends. Major gigs are on weekends, so the app's unreliability at crucial times forces us to seek alternatives. Additionally, support is slow to respond. // App is very unstable; crashes & locks up often.
