Cicadas, cicadas, cicadas. If you like cicadas and posting where you've seen them then this app is a gem. I like Brood X, there, in my opinion, not better Brood in the world

Needs a zoom function for the camera. I've really enjoyed being a part of this research project. I would have been able to take several more pictures if there was a zoom function. I live in a rural area and the majority of the cicada I've seen have been outside the range of the camera function.

I was pretty excited to see sightings popping up in my area, so I went out looking. Read all the instructions about how to take photos and videos. The directions weren't super clear, but I figured it out. Rather than use my cell data to take photos in the app I took pics and then planned to upload them at home. Sadly, nothing will upload because it says there is no geotag. This was not in the instructions and there is definitely a geotag attached. So...big bummer for me.

I loaded my first photo of a cicada three days ago, and it's still pending. I received an email to verify my account, but when I responded, the website gave no response. I'm legitimate, but this app thinks I'm not! Not very happy at all, since there is no link to troubleshoot issues. ... And I love cicadas!!!!!!
