Cinnamon Grocery Shopping List

★★★★★ This app is really helpful. I use bundles for all my recipes and have set up the categories & order to match the layout of my local supermarket. It would be good if the app could alert you if an item added to the shopping list is already in the pantry.

★★★★★ Easy to use app. It allows me to go quickly through my pantry and swipe to the shopping list those things I need. The pantry list can be arranged in category order but items in the pantry can not be appear to be able to be set permanently in a specific order except alphabetically. That is a pity for me as the items in my pantry are always in the same order. I could always arrange the pantry alphabetically and solve the problem. Categories are flexible and so can have any name. Only one pantry but you workaround that with categories eg "Beverages upstairs" and "Beverages downstairs". The screen is clear and attractive. It is very responsive to touches and swipes making it a pleasure to use. On thing that would make the app easier to use would be collapsible categories. However scrolling through the items is quick and easy. The one thing I do keep looking for is a complete list of items so I can easily edit them into the correct categories. Maybe that is too much to ask for and I am too much of a control freak. It is very hard to justify giving this app less than 5 stars when intuitive design, functionality, performance, attractiveness of the interface and cost are considered.

★★★★★ I love this app. Simple to use, allows me to keep a record of my pantry, which in turn means that I no longer buy a jar of cinnamon when I already have two in the cupboard! Lot less food waste as a result too. This app saves me money.

★★☆☆☆ Was a great app but the developer has stop support. You can no longer sync with other devices.

★★☆☆☆ Syncing has stopped. Ability to maintain account access or login or share has stopped. Such a shame. We have used this application for what seems like a LOOONG time. Now it's not a good source. 😭

★★☆☆☆ No more syncing... I get it, the developer is apparently not making money on the app and maybe even has to pay for a server to handle the synchronization. However, there is a certain lack of professionalism in just cutting off access rather than letting the users know that something needs to change or supporting the app would not be cost-effective. Unfortunately, what used to be perhaps the best shopping list app out there is now useless for those that share their shopping lists.
