Inoperable with less than six If you have fewer than six people in your circle, you cant tell your circle if there's a problem. It's possible people won't have six people they trust.
★★★★★
You don't need 6 people For everyone who does not have 6 people to add to their circle, it is possible to add people twice. I only have 4 people in my circle, but the app works because I repeated two contacts.

Great App! Love the execution of this product to this point. One feature I would think would be good to have is a "dead man's switch", so if a person KNOWS prior that they are going to be going into an iffy situation (dark alley, deserted metro station, bad neighbourhood, etc.) they can set it on this particular mode and (as example) hold one of the volume keys, while their device is in their purse/pocket. That way IF something happened a message can be send out by simple releasing the volume button, opposed to a) taking out the phone b) turning it on c) bypass lock screen c) find app (which often may include a prior step (b2) which involves navigating through several home/menu screens), and the final step selecting the message that you want to send out. It would encourage people to use the app more proactively since there is less worry about people having to ask themselves: "is this the appropriate situation/time to send this message?", and discretion of it also encourages active usage. Maybe also an option to automatically set ringtone to max volume.

Great idea, horrible execution While this app is a good idea, it hasn't been updated since December 2013, despite the incredible amount of flaws it has. Clearly it's a half-brained port from iPhones to Androids. Flaws include: 1. Selecting contacts is unwieldy, it let's you choose from all files, but doesn't accept anything but contacts. 2. The buttons on my phone are exceedingly small and hard to press. 3. In the instructions it still has the word 'iPhone' 4. Scrolling in the community guidelines is rough. 5. Requires 6 friends, or you can enter the same friend over and over again...WHAT!? 6. Overly simplified messages, can't customize them. Edit: Not only that, if you have repeated the same friend twice, then they will get twice the messages / alerts.
