ClapFind keeps a listening session running in the background with a visible notification, so you always know when it is on. One clap is enough to set it off, and a whistle works on its own too. As a whistle phone finder, ClapFind also hears a whistle from across the room with a dedicated tone check. Keep both triggers on or use the one you prefer. Whistle to locate your phone from another room; the tone check confirms a real whistle before firing.
The alarm plays through the alarm audio stream at full volume, which is designed to cut through silent mode, vibrate mode, and Do Not Disturb. That is the situation where a normal call stays quiet and ClapFind does not.
Everyday noise is handled by a detector that checks the sound pattern before it fires, not just the volume. As a clap finder, ClapFind uses a noise baseline so a loud room never triggers a false alarm. Television, music, and household sounds are ignored. If it ever misfires, one sensitivity change fixes it.

Open the Guard tab before you set your phone down and ClapFind becomes an anti theft phone alarm that sounds if anyone moves your phone. If anyone picks the phone up or unplugs the charger, the alarm sounds. Arm Guard mode and it also becomes a don't touch my phone alarm, with a charger-removal trigger too. Phone guard mode watches for motion while you are away and rings the alarm the moment your phone is lifted. Quiet peace of mind for shared offices, dorm rooms, and family homes.
