Description
This app is another medium for the Citizen to report issues regarding infrastructural maintenance or cleaning of Public areas. The app gives you the ability to take pictures of the site or item and lets you enter details of location. If the user wishes to switch the mobile location on, the location is automatically sent with the message. Users can now also track their cases and communicate directly and anonymously with the Cleansing and Maintenance Division.
The Cleansing and Maintenance Division provides various cleansing services to Central Government and Local Councils. The main purpose of the Cleansing and Maintenance Division is to keep urban and non-urban areas free from litter and illegal dumping, thus, enhancing Malta’s environment.

Reported dumping of black bags and council sent staff over. They looked inside black bags to get names and addresses from letters or bills and took photos of this with the black bags. The black bags were then removed.

Great initiative It's a great initiative but gps location is a must otherwise it is practically useless when reporting littering in remote places.

Great initiative Since app has no GPS facilities I tried to send a screenshot of tag in Google Maps where garbage was found in countryside. However, it seems app is unable to send multiple pictures at one go, so I couldn't send the actual garbage pics. Great initiative! Keep it up... and running :-)

When switching between apps or go to select an image to attach, it just resets everything and prompts for an internet connection even though I was connected. So I tried submitting the report without an image, and it still fails and asks to try again later. Fed up with trying now. Also, pls fix the online form to Request for Public Cleansing Services. Keeps giving a string error for the email field even though it's written fine.

Good idea but, the street names are always wrong, and nothing is ever done, so in reality it remains an idea
