CleanSweep: Photo Cleaner

CleanSweep finds what is quietly filling your phone: bursts of near identical photos, screenshots you never looked at again, and large videos. It groups them, shows you the pictures, and clears what you choose. No account, no upload.

WHAT IT FINDS
- Bursts and duplicates. Photos with identical pixel dimensions taken within a minute of each other, which is exactly the shape of a burst, a retake, or a copy you saved twice. In each group the first is left alone and the rest are pre-selected for you.
- Screenshots. Detected from the system photo type where the phone records one, and from the filename otherwise, matching both English and French naming.
- Large videos. Anything estimated at 50 MB or more, listed separately so a single clip you meant to keep does not hide among a hundred photos.

HOW IT WORKS
CleanSweep reads the metadata your photo library already holds, dimensions, creation time, filename and duration, instead of opening every file to inspect it. It scans your 2,000 most recent photos and, separately, your 2,000 most recent videos, which is where the clutter actually is.

BE CLEAR ABOUT THE SIZES
The megabyte figures are estimates derived from dimensions and duration, not read from each file. The estimate is there to rank what is worth your attention, and the space you actually recover will not match it to the megabyte.

NOTHING IS DELETED BEHIND YOUR BACK
Selections are a suggestion, not an action. Only the extras in a duplicate group start pre-selected; screenshots and large videos wait until you pick them. You see the photos, you choose, and nothing is removed until you tap delete. On Android a delete is permanent, cleared items do not go to a trash folder, so look through each group before you clear it.

WHO IT IS FOR
Anyone who cannot install an update because storage is full. Anyone paying for the next iCloud or Google tier because of 3,000 burst frames of a dog. Anyone who takes screenshots constantly and has never once gone back through them.

QUESTIONS
Are my photos uploaded? No. There is no network code in the app. Everything is read and decided on the device.
Does it delete anything on its own? No. It pre-selects the extras in a duplicate group as a suggestion and waits for you.
Can I get something back? No. On Android a delete is permanent, which is why nothing is removed until you tap delete.
Why are the sizes approximate? Because CleanSweep calculates them from each item's dimensions and duration instead of reading the file.
Does it scan my whole library? It covers the 2,000 most recent photos and the 2,000 most recent videos.
